Dear Iowa Disability Community!!!

The Iowa Statewide Independent Living

Council (SILC) and the six Iowa Centers for Independent Living (CILs) are seeking input from Iowans with disabilities for the development of the new State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL).

The SPIL lays out the activities we will conduct to strengthen the six Iowa Centers for Independent Living, and what we will do to strengthen services and resources for people with disabilities so they can remain living independently and not be forced to live in an institution such as a nursing home.  The survey has 15 questions and will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. Here is the link to the survey online.
