On March 24, 2008 the IICIL hosted out 20th Anniversary and Annual Meeting. Awards were presented to outgoing Board members: Connie Leader, Ida Robinson,Shirley Swaggard and Felipe Abraham-Calderon. John Punkiewicz received a plaque to thank him for his service to the IICIL as President of the Board of Directors. The Advocate of the Year Awards were presented to Fannie Mae Brown and David Mahieu. Volunteer of the Year Awards were presented to Patrick Olson, George Higham and Dan Lee. Interpreter Business of the Year Awards were presented to Community Health Care, Inc. and Individual Advocacy Group. Kathy Starling was presented with a watch to commemorate her 20 years of service as an Advocate at the IICIL.

There was a varity of food and great music provided by our own Al Ayew-ew. Everyone had a wonderful time.

We would like to thank all of our past and current consumers, Board members and supporters for all of their dedication and support to our Agency. Without it, we would not have been able to help people with disabilities and their families for the past 20 years and for the next 20+ years.
