With the rising costs of living, we could all benefit from some additional support these days. That’s why we’re excited to announce the return of

United Way QC’s free tax preparation service, VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program so QC families can save money and get the most out of their tax returns!

Sign-up for our free tax preparation program is now open. Services will be provided from Feb. 1 to April 12 at various locations around the Quad Cities by appointment only. Walk-in services are available at The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Rock Island.

Individuals and families who earned $64,000 in the past year and are a resident of Scott or Rock Island Counties are encouraged to schedule an appointment.

Appointments are limited and are expected to fill quickly.
